We went on a pioneer trek and days before we decided to check out, This is the place monument
We went on the 24th of July.
Trek was an amazing experiance. We crossed the river 4 different times throughout
It is for the youth but our whole ward was invited. So we brought Brooklyn along. It was so cool to have her. Some people brought there little children. They could ride in the handcart whenever they needed. it felt more real to have family walking across the plains.
It was like a desert and was always windy...
I found out something I didn't know about my husband.... He has never worn a cowboy hat in his life!!! thats too bad, he is a GoodLooking cowboy!!!
Don't be frightned.. that is me holding brooklyn hand. Let's be honest, I am NOT a cute pioneer. My husband on the other hand...

It's fun to get a sneak peak of the Trek experience! You are always beautiful, but I have to admit the glasses threw me. I'm still wishing we could have gone, too. Sounds so awesome.
Liz's kids are so big now! good job going on trek...i don't think i would have even attempted, and i will admit i didn't recognize jeff-it took me a minute, the summer went by so fast...and i really need a hair cut soon, matt told me if it grew any longer that people would start asking him how many wives he had :)
