This is Merrill Dunn. These boys have been attached to the hips since birth. As attached as possible seein' as how Merrill grew up in California and Jeff in Utah. They have remained the best of friends and that is why the distance keeps my husband married! They have fun together anyhow:)

Thanksgiving break

Jeff got a taste of heaven when he spent the day at the ROSE BOWL followed by a ride-a-long courtesy of LAPD (Merrill). They should be brothers or twins or something:) This occasion was made possible by the hardships and sacrifices of his beautiful wife and companion. Don't ask me what I was doing while he was in paradise?!!

Merrill (Jeff's cousin) is trying to persude Jeff to join in the LAPD by treating him to a ride along in that crazy thing behind him. I say.......NO WAY! He had a blast anyway! Jeff got a great view of Dodger Statium and many other attractions lit up by the choppers spotlight. CHANCE of a lifetime!!

Brooklyn could have looked for shells ALL day long. I love going on vacation with my family! Their discoveries are priceless. She could hardly wait to bring her sea shells home that she found all by herself. Now that is what life is all about. Oh yea, we taught Aubrey the chant "we love the beach". She says it pretty good:)

The Beach!

My husband is so cute!!
I love the beach! And I'm not the only one..... my girls LOVED it. Brooklyn's favorite part was digging in the sand. Aubrey loved the water. I love the peaceful feeling and the sound of the waves crashing . I also love the beauty and the relaxation. OH, I want to go back!! That was just what I needed. Ahhh....now I can get on with my CHRISTMAS shopping. Never mind....I'm going back to the beach:)

That's my Aubrey, what a gorgeous sunset huh.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

We are headed to California! I hope it is fun, we both need the BREAK really bad. I mean... I hope for the fact that I have never traveled in Thanksgiving traffic before and I hope it isn't too bad:( AND my girls should be good but you never know with kids, right. Jeff has family there and I think it will be really fun. We don't have any definite plans but I PLAN to really relax and enjoy the road trip:) Have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!!

CHRISTMAS DRESSES

I really couldn't get them to pose but these are the best ones I could get. What can I say they are 4 and 1 1/2.

THANKSGIVING POINT

I LOVE this picture! She wanted to ride that BIG horse:)
Grandpa and Grandma Hatfield got to come up for the day so we decided to take the girls to Thanksgiving Point. They have a petting zoo and you get to ride the ponies! My girls of course didn't want to get off of them. We had a blast!
This is their favorite part. You get at least two rides each.

I just wanted to talk a little bit about my girls. I am so thankful for them in my life and they have given me the blessing of being their mother. Which is something I have always wanted. When I was in Kindergarden I wanted to be a mom when I grew up. I cried with joy the day I found out about both of my pregnancies. My Brooklyn is a sweetheart! She tries so hard to be a good girl. She is sensitive and loving. She has always tried to please me and make me happy. She is also very smart and a fast learner. In preschool this year she will get frustrated if she can't do it right the first time:) Her favorite thing is animals!! She used to have a favorite, now it is all of them! She is obsessed with stuffed animals, not dolls. Also she has been chewing gum since she was about 2 years old. I know that is crazy! It is her favorite thing. She eats it EVERYDAY. And always throws it in the garbage (Thank goodness). She LOVES, LOVES, water. Swimming in a pool or just getting in the tub. She isn't shy and loves to play with friends. Brooklyn is also a performer. She is in dance and always wants to talk in the microphone on Sundays. We try to explain testimonies are only once a month:) We do have a Karaoke machine that she LOVES. My favorite thing Brooklyn does, at least right now, is she tells Aubrey "hugs" and they give eachother a big hug! I love you Brooklyn. Thank you for bringing me SO much joy!
Aubrey is so happy all the time. She has been laughing since she was 3 months old. I didn't know they could do that. What a joy she is! My favorite thing is her sparkle in her eyes. Since she was a little girl I would always say," look at her eyes, they are smiling:) " She loves the baby dolls and used to go into Brooklyn's room and collect all the babies because Brooklyn only played with animals. Now I think she has them all. She also likes to do hair like her mommy. It is really cute! She makes her daddy sit forward in his chair so she can do his hair too. She also puts all kinds of things in purses and strollers and she is on her way. Thats my girly girl! Her favorite person is her DADDY. Really, I didn't know daddy's girl was a real thing! She wakes up and says "daddy" and looks for pictures of him and sometimes she will carry pictures of him all day. She also has to sit on his lap no matter what he is doing. I LOVE how much she loves her dad. My husband just glows and feels so important:) I love the way she looks up to her sister. They can play so cute together! I love you Aubrey! Being a mother isn't easy but it is ALWAYS worth it.
Just two LOVELY girls hanging out together! Aubrey has to be with her sister all the time:)

I absolutly LOVE, LOVE, this quote! So I wanted to share it with the rest of you=-).
"Our deepest FEAR is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest FEAR is that we are powerful beyond mearsure. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be BRILLIANT, GORGEOUS, TALENTED, FABULOUS? Actually, who are you not to be? We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. And as we let our own light shine, we unconciously give other people permission to do the same." =-)!! By Marianne Williamson.

I am writing to my good friend Shana. I recently have been checking out her blog (I didn't know she had) and she has inspired me to really be greatful for what I have been blessed with. She has been through a divorce and pretty soon after she got remarried her husband was diagnosed with cancer. As of right now he is CANCER FREE, YEA! but what a long road she has traveled on in the last few years. I just want to tell her Thanks for being so strong. Thanks for making my life a little easier this week as I have been counting my blessings and had graditude in my heart for all that I have. You talk alot about being happy and making others happy too. I think you are an amazing person and you have a wonderful family! I am going to not live......but LIVE STRONG! In the ensign they have been encouraging women and families to be strong and immovable! I want to be that way=-). Thank you for you friendship and we love and miss you. This picture is just cute and says a thousand words all it's own.

Yea, I got a picture of the two animals together on Halloween. We had a great Halloween!! It was one of the warmest in a long time and I really liked that we waited to have daylight savings so it was light out for the trick-or-treaters! Aubrey does EVERYTHING her sister does, right.....so she was a cute little trick-or-treater. She would say it the best she could and she would stuff it in her little bag and run to the next house. It was so fun.

Jeff managed to get a fishing trip in on his birthday! I was glad he caught one. He went up to Strawberry resouivor. He landed a cutthroat trout on one of his homemade flies. This is one of his hobbies that he probably doesn't get to do enough of.
